Now this is more like it! :D

I worked opposite to my normal mode for this one. I started with the wall, the shadows and the light. The figure and the anatomy all came much later, which is part of the reason it's a little odd. My goal with this drawing was to push the media. I really wanted to incorperate a lot of stuff and a lot of mark making. I also wanted to create a space and light.

The feedback I am looking on this one isn't really so much about the proportion and such because I know where those mistakes are. I am more interested in what you guys think about the mixed media aspect and what you think works and doesn't work in the relationships.

Conté, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, ink wash, and wax on some paper that ~poopwonk gave me because I woke up late and forgot to go get some paper. @_@

Mmmm.... shiny buttock... lol.
Actually, the shiny spot almost makes some of the rest of the work look unfinished, like it's waiting to get that shine and roundness too... But I think it's a cool effect. :)

Hehe, thanks. I was going for building up the lights heavily and leaving the darks as thin as I could. The tactile effect it creates is really weird and cool looking. Though, everyone was mad at me cause my wax smelled. ;_;

To be honest, my professor has been encouraging me to use more materials for a while now. That day was the first day that I got really excited about it. I also think it helped that I started with the space instead of the figure. It gave me something to focus on just the materials without having to worry about if it 'looked right.' Ira is also a great model; that was not a comfortable pose at all. ^^; Thanks for the :+fav:! :D
